Chicago!

I love big cities and I've always wanted to see Chicago. I was able to cross that off the bucket list this November. We had a great time and the city was beautiful and already in the holiday spirit. It was cold though! The wind sure is painful. Overall we did a lot of sight-seeing and eating and met up with one of the Mr.'s online DJ friends.

5 Days Til Chicago and 1.5 days until Breaking Dawn

  Chicago!

We have a busy week ahead of us friends! Thursday or Friday I am going to try and watch Breaking Dawn: Part 1. I cannot wait! I'm SO excited and I'm not usually a Bella fan but how gorg is she in the W magazine shoot? I'm on Team Jacob by the way. 

Friday night the Mr. plays in San Luis Obispo so we will be traveling there for the night. Saturday we are going to come back home watch some boxing with the fam, pack, and spend the night with my parents to head over to LAX bright and early to start our Chicago trip. We are also super excited for this. Then we come back and it is Thanksgiving followed by the Mr.'s birthday! Then we plan to put up Christmas decorations but I'm not sure how exhausted we will be from our trip and the holidays. We will see.

Fall Harvest Fun

Halloween weekend we had the opportunity to attend a Harvest Festival at our friend's aunt's home. It was so much fun! There was a chili cook off, scavenger hunt, pinata and other games for kids and adults. It was western themed which added to the fun as well!

Trying to enjoy this weather the rain and cold is soon to come to Southern California.

2 Years and Counting

 All my life I'd wonder what a great marriage would be like. "How would it feel to be that in love?" I'd ask myself.

 Thanks to you, I know.

You make me the happiest girl in the whole wide world. You are the best husband, partner, and friend a girl could ask for. I thank God every day for blessing me with you. These 2 years have truly been the most amazing in my life and I have you to thank for that. You are my saving grace, my rock.

And I love you today and always. Just as I promised on a November  day 2 years ago.

I had never heard of Simply to Impress, but after checking out their site, I must say they have some pretty cute cards!  By using the 25% off code and my Living Social special I'm going to get my holiday cards for about $35, which is much less than the $60 bucks I was planning on spending on other sites.
