More Details

Two decor elements that I think were very important for our wedding reception were the lighting and the chairs. For the lighting we did pink against the walls. We also had candles everywhere and the fire places were lit. It just felt so warm, intimate and romantic. I love chiavari chairs! However they are super expensive and were not in our budget, but I needed to find a way to have them! First we were attempting to rent them through a LA company (much cheaper than local companies) and we were attempting to split them with another couple who was having their wedding at the site on Sunday and was also interested in renting them. That did not work out very well =(. But maybe a week before our wedding our site coordinator informed us that they purchased chiavari chairs and they had just arrived (right before our wedding how convenient). We were able to rent them from the site for half the cost of most rental places and we had no delivery fee. Annnddd we were the first couple to use them! It ended up working perfectly.

Let There Be More Light!

Mr. DJ did a beautiful wedding in LA this weekend.It took place at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. Since he has purchased lighting for our wedding, he has also been using it at other events. It looked so good! Here are a few shots to give you an idea of what he did for them (the wedding colors were dark purple and green.)




I love it! Can't wait to see how the lighting looks at our wedding!
