My Birthday

Yesterday was my 25th birthday. It was such an important birthday because well 25 is a big deal (quarter-life crisis!) and it is my last birthday as a single girl! I had a wonderful day! I went to work where I was surprised by my co-workers with some of my favorite cupcakes Crumbs. Then it was off to dinner with my entire family at a beautiful restaurant by the harbor. My Mom made me a calendar with pictures of my nephew. And if you are wondering about Mr. DJ, well my hubby to be really really REALLY spoiled me this year with an amazing purse and a gift card for a mani pedi. His cousin got me a gift card to Ulta, a local beauty store. But the two most beautiful things I received where their cards. The messages were heartfelt:

Though we are both 25 now, we have so much more life to live- TOGETHER. I hope you remember this day forever and that everything you wish for when you blow out your candles comes true- I'm gonna do everything in my power so that those wishes come true. I love you!

I love this man and I adore his family. I am so lucky to become a part of it. Needless to say I cannot wait to read my card from him on our wedding day!
