This summer we traveled back to Europe. It has been 8 years since our last visit. We wanted to focus our trip on Northern Italy since we have already done other parts of that beautiful country. Firenze, or Florence, as we Americans call it, was really beautiful and is a great launching part for traveling around Italy.
The cobblestone streets, the architecture, the pizza.... (sigh) missing it already!

Chicago!
I love big cities and I've always wanted to see Chicago. I was able to cross that off the bucket list this November. We had a great time and the city was beautiful and already in the holiday spirit. It was cold though! The wind sure is painful. Overall we did a lot of sight-seeing and eating and met up with one of the Mr.'s online DJ friends.

5 Days Til Chicago and 1.5 days until Breaking Dawn

Photos from W Magazine |
We have a busy week ahead of us friends! Thursday or Friday I am going to try and watch Breaking Dawn: Part 1. I cannot wait! I'm SO excited and I'm not usually a Bella fan but how gorg is she in the W magazine shoot? I'm on Team Jacob by the way.
Friday night the Mr. plays in San Luis Obispo so we will be traveling there for the night. Saturday we are going to come back home watch some boxing with the fam, pack, and spend the night with my parents to head over to LAX bright and early to start our Chicago trip. We are also super excited for this. Then we come back and it is Thanksgiving followed by the Mr.'s birthday! Then we plan to put up Christmas decorations but I'm not sure how exhausted we will be from our trip and the holidays. We will see.
What are your Thanksgiving plans?

It's Official-Thailand Here We Come!

Friends!
It is official. I am going to Thailand in April. Yesterday we booked our plane tickets and I could not be more excited. Thailand is THE country I have always wanted to visit and now one of my life dreams/goals is coming true. I can't believe it. Mr. DJ and I will be going with two of our friends (another couple).
Our amazing friend Lorena is currently living and teaching in Thailand and if all goes as planned she will be traveling with us and acting as our wonderful tour guide. You can follow her travels and see more amazing photos on her blog .
April is one of the hottest months which sucks but it also has so much going on. We will be there for the Thai New Year and we will be able to attend a Full Moon Party. A Full Moon Party is pretty much an all-night party on the beach with 30,000 people, DJs everywhere, fire-eaters, jugglers and impromptu firework shoes. How cool is that? Apart from that we get to visit temples, feed elephants, eat amazing thai food, and lay on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
I can scratch off a big thing from the baby bucket list, life bucket list, 30 before 30 list, 2011 goals list and pretty much all my life lists.
Til Next Time-Sawatdi! (good-bye)
